The Arlington Healthy Communities Action Team (HCAT) was formed to tackle Childhood Obesity, particularly for ages 0 – 5. HCAT is a committee of the Arlington Partnership for Children, Youth, and Families (APCYF) and this position is part of a 2-year Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth (VFHY) grant cycle; year two began on July 1 and will end on June 30, 2020. The work of the HCAT Coordinator will include involving stakeholders in reviewing project objectives and plans, convening and engaging partners and stakeholders, coordination and administrative support of the HCAT and Working Groups, attending trainings and required meetings, assisting team members with seeking additional funding and resources as needed, data collection and reporting.
