Joining APCYF and its Committees
The full membership of the Arlington Partnership for Children, Youth and Families (APCYF) meets the 4th Wednesday of the month, 6:00–8:00 pm, typically at Sequoia (2100 Washington Blvd., Arlington, VA 22204), Lower Level unless otherwise noted.

We recommend that you attend at least one meeting, and meet with either the Chair or members, to get an idea of our work. We also suggest you attend at least one committee of interest.
Planning and Development – Works supports the the Partnership and works to build a shared understanding of the Partnership’s vision and mission among members and clarify and redefine the roles of members. This committee meets on the second Tuesdays of each month at 6:00 p.m.
Early Childhood – Focuses on 0-5 year olds, connecting to parents and messaging the importance of early childhood development. Meets as needed, typically fourth Mondays at 6:00 p.m. at Sequoia.
Youth Mental Health and Wellness Committee – Works to address the increases in depressive symptoms, bullying, and other mental health issues reported by Arlington youth. This committee meets on the third Mondays at 5:00 p.m. at Sequoia.
Teen Network Board (TNB) – The TNB mission is to provide a voice for Arlington teens. The teens develop and implement plans focused on issues identified in survey results. Meets 1st and 3rd Tuesdays during the school year, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Central Library.
Substance Use/READY Coalition – Community members from APS, Courts, law enforcement, parents, faith communities, civic associations, Community Service Board and others meet to reinforce and promote a message that substance use, including alcohol and marijuana add nothing to a teens’ lives while putting their futures at risk. Meets every other month, contact APCYF for schedule.
